Who Should Attend?
The Yale Cyber Leadership Forum is aimed at leaders who have faced the challenge of bridging the divide between law, technology, and business in cybersecurity. We are seeking a diverse set of thought leaders—practitioners from leading law firms, cybersecurity technology experts, policy experts, and academics working at the cutting edge of cybersecurity—who are eager to share their experiences, learn more about the array of cyber threats, gather new strategies for overcoming cybersecurity challenges, and contribute to discussions of the best way to tackle the challenges ahead. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential for participation in the Forum.
HOW TO APPLY
Applications are accepted online. To be considered, applicants must submit a complete application and provide a CV or résumé.
NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
We will inform applicants of their acceptance within two weeks of receiving their completed application. Once the forum reaches capacity, we will not accept additional participants, but will add names to a wait list.
The tuition fee of $2,995 includes program materials, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, and all-day refreshments. Housing is not included in the course fee; however, a special hotel rate (which includes breakfast) will be provided for participants at a local hotel. Payment is accepted by company check, bank wire transfer, or credit card (American Express, MasterCard, and Visa). Tuition must be paid by March 17, 2017.
Government and non-profit employees qualify for a reduced tuition of $1,995. Yale alumni qualify for 15% off tuition. Discounts may not be combined.
We are excited to announce new scholarship opportunities made possible through a generous gift from a Forum supporter.
These scholarships will enable cybersecurity professionals, who might not otherwise have the financial resources, to participate in this unique educational experience. In total, five (5) full-tuition scholarships will be awarded this month (travel & lodging not included).
To be considered, you must submit a completed Forum application here. With your application, please include a short statement of financial need explaining why you would benefit from being awarded a scholarship.
The deadline to apply for a scholarship is March 17, 2017. Decisions will be announced on March 22, 2017.
A full tuition fee refund will be issued if you withdraw from the forum before March 17, 2017. After that date, no refund will be issued. However, you may defer your participation until the following year (any fee increase will apply) or send a qualified substitute in your place (separate application is required).
